María Fernanda Valencia (right), known lovingly as Nana, is the founder and creative director of Juan de Dios. A painter, designer, wife, and mother of two, Nana is deeply inspired by the natural world and the quiet beauty found in everyday rhythms. Through Juan de Dios, she found a space where her creativity could flourish—honoring her love of design while championing a meaningful mission. Her vision is rooted in authenticity and guided by an unwavering respect for craft, culture, and community. Season after season, she continues to spotlight the artisanal talent of Latin America through timeless collections with soul.
Isabella Gutierrez (left), partner and Sales & Finance Director, is the brand’s strategic force. With a background in economics and a keen business mind, Isabella joined Juan de Dios in 2018, bringing structure and growth to the creative foundation. The harmony between Isabella’s vision and Nana’s artistry has been essential in shaping the brand’s evolution—anchoring it in purpose, sustainability, and long-term impact.
